With many commands, you can refer to individual objects or groups of them.
In particular, this applies to the commands 'take', 'get', 'drop', 'give',
'put' and 'sell'.
For example:
> sell knife 3
> get sword from bag
> give all torches to gatekeeper
> put all except micro in sack
> take all from all corpses
> drop all from bag 2
> tie rope 1 to rope 2
You will also discover, while exploring, that syntax is not always the same
in similar situations around the mud. With many dozens of wizards building
rooms over the past decade, you might find yourself having to try various
commands before you get the effect you want. We log all instances of people
trying to look at items which have not been fully described, and are working
on fixing them. If you run across a syntax problem, where you just plain
can not figure out what to do, ask a wizard for help or use the "bug"
command to leave your complaint about the problem.
